Clippers Win Game Five To Keep Western Conference Final Alive

Paul George scored 41 points as the Los Angeles Clippers kept their NBA Western Conference finals series alive with a road victory over the Phoenix Suns.

The Suns were hoping to clinch series victory on home soil but the 116-102 win for the Clippers leaves the best-of-seven series poised at 3-2.

The Clippers can level the series with victory in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

The win marked the third time during this season's play-offs that the Clippers have won an elimination game, and Monday's win came without several starters, including the injured Kawhi Leonard.

George led the way with 20 of his points coming in the third quarter to take the game away from Phoenix. He finished 15-from-20 from the floor with three three-pointers, 13 rebounds and six assists.

Reggie Jackson supported him with 23 points while Marcus Morris added 22 with DeMarcus Cousins on 15.

Deandre Ayton’s Dunk Seals 104-103 Phoenix Suns Win Against LA Clippers In NBA Playoffs

A last-second dunk from Deandre Ayton earned the Phoenix Suns a 104-103 victory over the visiting Los Angeles Clippers to take a 2-0 lead in the NBA play-offs' Western Conference finals.

Ayton slammed home the game-winning basket from a lobbed inbound pass towards the rim from Jae Crowder.

Centre Ayton finished with 24 points and 14 rebounds.

Cameron Payne led the Suns scoring with 29 points, while Paul George top scored for the Clippers with 26.

George, however, missed a pair of free throws with 8.2 seconds remaining that gave the Suns a chance to win the game.

While Mikal Bridges missed a three-point attempt with 3.3secs remaining that would have given the Suns the lead, the Clippers tipped the ball out of bounds with under a second left.

The Clippers have already fought back from 2-0 down twice to get this far in the play-offs - having done so against the Dallas Mavericks in the first round and then the top-seeded Utah Jazz in the conference semi-finals - and now face the challenge of having to do so again.

They will host game three on Thursday, having won their past four games in Los Angeles.

Khloé Kardashian And Tristan Thompson Break Up Again

Tristan and Khloe have been in an off and on relationship for some years.

According to PageSix, the couple split a few weeks ago.

"They’re getting along. There is no drama, everything is amicable, and they are on the same page with co-parenting," a source revealed.

It was also revealed that the couple decided to call it quits after the now-famous interview where IG model Sydney Chase said she had a fling with the NBA star.

This is not the first time the celebrity couple will be calling it quits.

Recall in 2018 Thompson was caught on camera cheating on his then expectant girlfriend.

A video of Tristan cheating on Khloe went viral in 2018.

It showed the basketball star making out with two women in a lounge in New York in October, while Khloe was 3 months pregnant.

In 2019, Thompson attended a party where he was spotted cuddling Kylie Jenner's best friend, Jordyn Woods.

Well, it didn't take long before the news got to Khloe who instantly ended things with the basketballer.

Nikola Jokic Named NBA MVP

The Denver Nuggets' Nikola Jokic became the lowest-drafted MVP in NBA history and the first player in franchise history to win the award.

The Serbian centre started all 72 games for the Nuggets and averaged 26.4 points, 10.8 rebounds and 8.3 assists per contest - all setting or matching career highs.

The 26-year-old was drafted 41st overall in 2014 and is only the second second-round draft pick to become an MVP after Willis Reed (1970), who was the eighth pick in 1964 when there were just nine teams in the league.

An All-Star for the third straight year, Jokic is the third European to be named the NBA's MVP after Dirk Nowitzki and Giannis Antetokounmpo, who won the award the last two seasons.

Jokic earned 91 of 101 first-place votes for a total of 971 points, with Embiid second with 586 points and Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry third with 453.
