Brazilian Legend Ronaldo Announces Engagement After 7 years In A Relationship

After 7 years of dating, Brazilian great Ronaldo announces his engagement.

Ronaldo Nazario, a former Real Madrid, Barcelona, Milan, and Inter player and now Real Valladolid owner, will go down the aisle kneeling before his partner, Celina Locks, and asking the all-important question. His fiancée was the one who shared the happy couple’s announcement on Instagram.

It is the Brazilian legend’s sixth effort, and he seems to have bonded 100% with the businesswoman, with whom he has been in a relationship for seven years, starting in 2015. Locks’ response to the proposition was unequivocal: “YES, I do. “I love you, Ronaldo, forever,” she said under the photo, adding emojis of an infinity sign and an engagement ring.

In Celina’s post, you can see both of them clothed in white, melting into an embrace and beaming at the camera as she rests her palm on the ex-soccer player’s chest, where you can also see the engagement ring he gave her. The shot that follows shows them seeming as though they are about to kiss.

The replies were quick, and within hours, the pair had received congratulations from all around the world, with over 700 comments and over 22,000 ‘likes’ since they published. “I adore you,” Ronaldo wrote on his comment board.

Despite Ronaldo Nazario and Celina Locks’ announcement of this wonderful news, no information has been provided on the dates for which this event is being considered, or where he will be now that his life is split between Spain and Brazil. What we really want to know, considering his links to the Bernabéu club, is if the groom will be dressed completely in white for the big celebration…

Messi Extends PSG Contract

Paris Saint-Germain have revealed that World Cup-winning Argentina captain Lionel Messi has agreed to extend his contract at the Parc des Princes for at least another season, keeping him at the club until the end of the 2023-24 season, when he will be 37.

During the World Cup, PSG had regular discussions with Lionel Messi’s father and agent, Jorge Messi, and Le Parisien reported that a verbal agreement was reached several weeks ago at the beginning of December.

The news appears to put an end to speculation about a possible return to Barcelona, who were rumored to be preparing to use another financial level to facilitate Messi’s return to Camp Nou.

Inter Miami, owned by David Beckham, has also been linked to Messi, but will have to wait at least another 18 months to get their man.

According to the Paris-based publication, PSG had little trouble convincing Messi to stay, with Messi and his family happy and settled in Paris and the new contract providing an opportunity for him to continue playing at the highest level.

Prior to the World Cup, rumors circulated that the former Barcelona star was doubting his ability to continue playing elite-level soccer, but his outstanding performances in Qatar, where he scored eight goals, including two in the final against France, demonstrated that he still has a lot to offer.

June 16, 2022 Dani Alves Leaves Barcelona For Second Time

Dani Alves Leaves Barcelona For Second Time

Dani Alves, who rejoined Barcelona last year, has announced that he is leaving the club once more.

Five years after leaving the Nou Camp for Juventus, the 39-year-old right defender returned to Barcelona in November.

Alves played 407 times for Barcelona in all, winning six La Liga championships.

"I would like to thank all the staff for the opportunity they gave me to return to this club and to be able to wear that wonderful shirt again. You don't know how happy I am," Alves said.

"It closes a very beautiful cycle and opens another even more challenging one," he added in a post on Instagram.

Alves won 23 trophies during his first eight years at Barcelona, including four Copa del Rey crowns and three Champions League victories.

With a transfer to Sao Paulo coming before his return to the Nou Camp, the Brazilian won Serie A with Juventus in 2016–17 and Ligue 1 with Paris St. Germain in both 2017–18 and 2018–19.

He hopes to be a member of his country's World Cup team later this year and started both of Brazil's victories over South Korea and Japan this month.

April 19, 2022 Barcelona Suffer Shock Home Defeat To Cadiz

Barcelona Suffer Shock Home Defeat To Cadiz

Barcelona suffered a shock home La Liga defeat by relegation-threatened Cadiz to leave leaders Real Madrid closer to clinching the Spanish title.

The visitors began the day in the bottom three but Lucas Perez poked in from close range just after half-time to boost their survival prospects.

This was Barca's first La Liga loss since 4 December, ending a 15-match unbeaten league run.

Second-placed Barca trail Real Madrid by 15 points with seven games left.

Any hopes the Catalans retained of derailing their great rivals' bid for a 35th top-flight title were slim before the visit of Cadiz, but this result will serve as a reminder of the gulf between Spain's dominant teams.

Barca have been resurgent under Xavi since his appointment as manager in November and even thrashed the league leaders 4-0 at the Bernabeu last month.

But the Nou Camp club have endured a chastening week, with this defeat coming five days after they were beaten at home by Eintracht Frankfurt and eliminated from the Europa League semi-finals.

January's Premier League signings Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Adama Traore were left out of the starting XI against Cadiz before being brought on as the home side sought an equaliser, but the visitors held firm.

Victory takes Cadiz two points clear of the relegation zone with six matches left.
