Ronaldo Marks 600th Appearance With 20th Seria A Goal This Season.

Cristiano Ronaldo marked his 600th league appearance with his 20th Serie A goal of the season as Juventus comfortably secured a 3-0 win over Spezia.

All three goals came in the second half, with Ronaldo getting his side's third when he finished off a quick counter-attack in the final minute.

Alvaro Morata had slotted in Federico Bernardeschi's cross for the opener before Federico Chiesa tapped in.

Victory moved Juventus to within three points of second-placed AC Milan.

Ronaldo's goal means he has become the first player to score at least 20 goals in each of the past 12 seasons in Europe's top five leagues.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored two headers as Juventus beat bottom side Crotone to go within eight points of leaders Inter Milan.

Ronaldo turned home an Alex Sandro cross before powering a header in from Aaron Ramsey's ball, his 70th Serie A goal in just over two and a half years.

Crotone are the 78th team in Europe's top five leagues to concede a league goal to Ronaldo.

Weston McKennie scored Juve's third from close range.

Ronaldo is now Serie A's top scorer this season, with 18 - overtaking Inter Milan's Romelu Lukaku.

Ronaldo Double Earns Juventus First Leg Advantage In Coppa Italia

Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice as Juventus came from behind to win the first leg of their Coppa Italia semi-final at Inter Milan.

Argentine forward Lautaro Martinez had put Inter in front, steering a shot past Juve goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon on his 1,100th senior appearance.

However, Ashley Young's foul on Juan Cuadrado allowed Ronaldo to level with a penalty.

The Portuguese forward then capitalised on a defensive mistake for his second.

That rounded off the scoring in a bad-tempered encounter, which saw nine players booked as Andrea Pirlo's side earned revenge for their 2-0 Serie A defeat against Inter in January.

Juventus, 13-time winners of the competition, host the second leg in Turin on Tuesday, 9 February.

Ronaldo snubs Ballon d’Or for Gran Gala ceremony

Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo didn’t appear at the Ballon d’Or ceremony in Paris on Monday evening as Lionel Messi won his sixth gong.

Multiple reports claim the Portuguese star wasn’t on the podium for the prize, with his Barcelona rival winning for a record sixth time and Liverpool duo Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah on either side.

Now, reports ran that Ronaldo had learned of his ranking, outside the top three, and therefore, decided not to attend the event.

Instead, he appeared at the Gran Gala ceremony in Milan – also being held on Monday night – to receive the award for best Serie A player of last season.

The 34-year-old debuted as a Juve player with 21 League goals during the 2018-19 campaign but has managed just six so far this term.
