Cameron Diaz was photographed for the first time on the set of her comeback film, Back In Action, in London, four years after announcing her retirement and eight years after starring in her last film.
On Thursday night, the actress, 50, arrived at work with her long-time friend and co-star Jamie Foxx, 55, and Glenn Close, 75, wearing an eye-catching red shawl.
Following years of speculation, she announced her retirement from acting in 2018 in order to devote more time to herself and her husband, rocker Benji Madden, 43.
A year later, in December 2019, she gave birth to her third child, Raddix, and said she “couldn’t imagine” leaving her child to go on 14-hour shoots.
Little is known about Netflix’s upcoming action comedy, but Glenn was spotted filming scenes with the pair on the Thames while Jamie was wrapped in a bright red blanket.
The film, directed by Seth Gordon of Horrible Bosses and written by Brendan O’Brien of Neighbors, was announced in June.
