Conte Dismisses Link To Juventus Amid Rumors

Tottenham head coach Antonio Conte says reports linking him with a return to Juventus are "disrespectful" and "incredible", and insists he is happy at Spurs.

According to reports in Italy last week, Conte is open to replacing under-pressure Juve boss Massimiliano Allegri, who potentially faces the sack with the Old Lady struggling in Serie A with just two wins in seven games this season.

The Italian giants are also reportedly encouraged by Conte's contract situation at Tottenham with his current deal expiring next summer.

But Conte, who joined Spurs in November 2021 and then guided them to Champions League qualification, has rejected the rumours from his home country.

Conte's side return to action at north London rivals Arsenal on Saturday following the international break, which saw Spurs forward Richarlison racially abused while playing for Brazil.

Newcastle Agree Deal For Australian Teenager Kuol

Newcastle has agreed a deal to sign 18-year-old Garang Kuol from Central Coast Mariners, with the Australian forward joining the club in January.

"It's unreal. As a young boy in Australia, the Premier League is the main thing that everyone watches but nobody actually thinks they'll reach those heights," said Kuol.

"To be one of those people, to be in the position I am, it's amazing."

Newcastle reportedly paid an initial £300,000 before add-on clauses.

Kuol earned his first Australia cap last week becoming the youngest player to represent his country since former Leeds and Liverpool Harry Kewell in 1996.

Kuol, who only signed his first professional deal in June, has emerged as a late bolter for the Socceroos' Qatar 2022 squad after four goals in his seven substitute appearances for the Mariners.

He also impressed in a cameo in a post-season friendly against Barcelona, earning praise from opposition manager Xavi.

Newcastle United sporting director Dan Ashworth said that Kuol would be allowed time to develop on Tyneside.

Born in Egypt, Kuol and his family arrived in the country as refugees from South Sudan. His elder brother Alou moved from the Mariners to German side Stuttgart in 2021.

US Group Still Interested In Buying Everton

US-based KAM Sports group is still interested in buying Premier League club Everton, according to sources close to the Americans.

The organisation was among the parties involved in talks about a takeover earlier this year.

After those discussions ended, Everton owner Farhad Moshiri said the club was not for sale.

However, sources claim talks have continued, with KAM Sports now acting alone.

KAM Sports describes itself as a "family-owned organisation that is set up to own and manage premier international sports assets".

It belongs to the Minneapolis-based Kaminski family, which made its fortune in property investment.

The Kaminski family was part of a consortium led by former Manchester United and Chelsea chief Peter Kenyon that was looking to buy the club earlier this year.

Moshiri then penned an open letter to fans, denying he was looking to sell.

"There has been much talk of investment in our football club recently - even takeovers," he said. "I want to clarify that there is no 'for sale' sign currently hanging outside Everton."

He added, though, it was "pragmatic to explore all potential investment opportunities".

Moshiri has invested hundreds of millions of pounds into Everton since taking the helm in 2016 and the club is set to move to a new 53,000-seat stadium in 2024.
