Nigerian music sensation Wizkid has responded to concerns raised by fans regarding his recent appearance at an event in London.

The acclaimed artist attended the UK premiere of 'Bob Marley: One Love' where videos captured him looking pensive. This led to widespread speculation and worries among netizens.

Addressing the concerns, Wizkid took to his Instagram story on Wednesday morning to share his thoughts. In a series of posts, he revealed that he has been grappling with a sense of loss since his mother's passing. Wizkid expressed, "Look in the mirror and I don’t feel myself. Mama left me and I lost myself. I can’t wait to feel myself again. Life of a soldier! Military with it! Until then I dey slap away for free so leave me."

He expressed gratitude to his fans for accompanying him through this challenging phase. Wizkid acknowledged, "And I’m thankful that you all are going through this phase with me. You seen me at my lowest now. When you see me back on my high no complain. Expensive pain." The artist's candid acknowledgement of his emotions provides insight into the personal struggles he is currently navigating.

Singer Wizkid Reportedly Loses N99.5million Ring To His Fans At His Concert In UK

Grammy award-winning Nigerian musician, Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, experienced a moment of misfortune during his recent concert in the UK.

The singer accidentally lost one of his expensive rings while engaging with his enthusiastic fans at the sold-out show held at Tottenham Stadium in London on Saturday night.

According to reports, Wizkid threw his valuable ring into the crowd while attempting to fling his jacket, a customary gesture of interaction with his fans. The ring, valued at £100,000 (approximately N85 million), was an unfortunate casualty of the energetic atmosphere.

Notably, British-Nigerian podcaster, Adesope Olajide, revealed the incident during an Instagram live session. He expressed regret for being unable to retrieve the ring after leaving his front-row spot when it fell into the crowd.

In a lamentation, he recalled successfully catching rings of other artists, including Zlatan Ibile and Diamond Platnumz, at their concerts in the past.
