Nigerian artist Tobechukwu Victor Okoh, famously known as Peruzzi, has responded to a circulating screenshot of an alleged tweet attributed to him, suggesting that his record label boss, Davido, severed ties with him due to rumors of an affair with Davido's wife, Chioma.
The screenshot, which surfaced on X on Wednesday and was widely shared, purportedly showed a tweet by Peruzzi making damning accusations against Davido before quickly deleting it. The alleged tweet from Peruzzi read, "We used to be so close but because you hear say I dey pipe your wife you start to give me attitude. I don leave your circle sha. Ungrateful n*gga like say if no write your songs you for blow."
An X user, @belikebaddy, posted the screenshot along with the caption "You no go fold keh," implying that Peruzzi had indeed made the tweet before removing it.
Peruzzi then reposted the tweet in question and responded, "Your own go bad gaannnnn." In another tweet, he suggested that the screenshot was doctored, writing, "You sabi edit abi? You go edit for me wella. No worry."
In essence, Peruzzi has addressed the viral screenshot, hinting at its potential manipulation and asserting his position.
