President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Lagos ahead of the Muslim festival of Eid-El-Fitr, marking the end of the month of Ramadan.
The President was received at the Presidential Wing of Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) by the Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, in the company of top officials of the federal and state governments.
The festival is expected to take place on Tuesday or Wednesday, depending on the lunar calendar, heralding the new Islamic month of Shawwal.
Ahead of the president’s arrival, his spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale noted that he would continue official duties during and after the Eid-el-Fitr holidays.
