The rise of Afrobeats on the global stage has led to Nigerian artists collaborating with some of the biggest names in music.

Adekunle Gold may soon join the list of Nigerian artists to partner with the legendary American producer, Timbaland.

Timbaland recently posted an Instagram story of himself vibing to Adekunle Gold's "Something Different."

He praised the song, calling it "hard" and expressed a desire to work with the Nigerian artist. Timbaland is renowned for producing multi-Grammy-winning tracks for A-list artists such as Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, Alicia Keys, Jay Z, Missy Elliot, and many others.

Timbaland has previously shown his admiration for Afro-house queen Niniola and featured on her album, "Colours and Sounds." Adekunle Gold is another Nigerian artist making waves in the Afrobeats scene.

He collaborated with Lucky Daye on the hit single "Sinner" and also teamed up with Rick Ross for the remix of his hit song "5 Star."

Adekunle Gold's latest release, "Party No Dey Stop" featuring Zinoleesky, topped TurnTable Top 100. 

Fans are eagerly anticipating the potential collaboration between Timbaland and Adekunle Gold, which is sure to produce a chart-topping hit.
