FBI Warns Of Possibility Of Armed Protests Ahead Joe Biden’s Swearing In

The FBI is warning of the possibility of armed protests being held across the US in the days before JOE BIDEN is sworn in as president.

There are reports of armed groups planning to gather at all 50 state capitols and in Washington DC in the run-up to his 20 January inauguration.

The fears come as security plans are hardened for the event itself.

On Monday, Mr. BIDEN told reporters he was not afraid to take the oath of office outside of the US Capitol.

The Chief of the National Guard Bureau, DANIEL HOKANSON said security will be beefed up in most states in the US.

NFL coach BILL BELICHICK says he will not accept President DONALD TRUMP's offer of the Presidential Medal of Freedom, citing the US Capitol riot.

BELICHICK, of the New England Patriots, said he was flattered when he was first offered the medal - the top award given to civilians in the US.

But he said he changed his mind after a mob of TRUMP supporters stormed Congress last week where five people died in the ensuing chaos.

BELICHICK, who has won a record six Super Bowl titles, is considered one of the most successful coaches in NFL history.

The Presidential Medal of Freedom recognizes individuals who have made outstanding contributions to "the security or national interests of America".

Nigerian rapper Lanre Dabiri also known as eLDee says banning anyone from social media is a form of tyranny.

The music star made this known via his Twitter page on Monday, January 11, 2021.

"Banning someone from a social media platform simply because you don't agree with their opinions is a classic demonstration of tyranny," he tweeted.

The rapper's tweet may be connected to the recent developments in the United States of America.

It would be recalled that the outgoing president of the United States, Donald Trump was banned from several social media platforms for what has been perceived as inciting violence.

Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and several other social media platforms axed the 45th president of the country from their platforms after the violence that took place at the US Capitiol.

President of United states, Donald Trump has finally conceded defeat to President-Elect, Joe Biden.

He made this known via the Twitter account of, Dan Scavino, White House Deputy Chief of Staff, after American microblogging service locked his account for instigating violence that occurred in Capitol Hill.

“Even though I totally disagree with the outcome of the election, and the facts bear me out, nevertheless there will be an orderly transition on January 20th.

“I have always said we would continue our fight to ensure that only legal votes were counted.

“While this represents the end of the greatest first term in presidential history, it’s only the beginning of our fight to Make America Great Again!”

Trump has constantly maintained that the November 2020 election was marred with election fraud.
