On March 25, 2021, Nigerian singer, Peruzzi featured his label boss, Davido on new single, 'Somebody Baby.'

The record discusses distress in love, as it relates to friendzone, as a disruption for potential love. The record is released under DWM and produced by Fresh VDM.

It is Peruzzi's latest single as fans anticipate his sophomore album and fourth overall body of work, Rum and Boogie. The last single of this album was 'South Love' featuring Peruzzi.

Man who dropped out of school in England thanks Davido for funding his education in Nigeria

A young Nigerian man, Jide Valentino Sanya has thanked music star Davido for partly funding his university education in Nigeria.

According to the young man who recently graduated from the Afe Babalola University, it was the funds from the gofundme account created after he dropped out in England that saw him through school.

Jide recently graduated with a first class in Electric Electronics Engineering from the Afe Babalola University.

"Uni timeline Folded hands - left England because money no Dey Lagos - mentor sets up a gofundme for uni - @davido dropped funds to support my fundraiser (thanks to Twitter folk Red heart) - Resumed ABUAD and survived Nigerian education - first class EEE #ThankYouJesus," he tweeted.

Davido responded, writing: "Crazy !! Happy for you."

This is not the first time the music star will be funding the education of a stranger.

The boy was discovered after he was spotted singing Davido's hit single 'If.'

In 2018,he also placed a young student on scholarship at his father's university, Adeleke University.

Emanuella Gets Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Award Nomination Again

The teenage comedian is nominated alongside Ikorodu Bois, Elsa Majimbo, Ghetto Kids.

Nigerian child comedian, Emanuella Samuel has been nominated for the 2021 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards.

The nomination which is her second, has the child star contend for the Favourite African Social Star category alongside Nigerian skit makers Ikorodu Bois, Kenyan comedian Elsa Majimbo, South Africa's Bonang Matheba, Uganda's Ghetto Kids and South African magician Wian Van Den Berg.

Emmanuella was first nominated for the renowned kiddies' awards in 2018 alongside Davido. They both lost to Ugandan singer Eddy Kenzo.

On February 2, 2020, nominations for the NAACP Image Awards were announced and Nigerian superstars, Tiwa Savage, Davido and Wizkid all bagged nominations.

Tiwa Savage bagged two nominations in the Outstanding International Song category for 'Temptation,' her single off her album, 'Celia'. The song features British star, Sam Smith. She was also nominated for 'Tanana,' Davido's track off his album,A Better Time. Nigerian superstar, Wizkid bagged a nomination for his part on 'Brown Skin Girl.'

The song is nominated in the Outstanding Music Video/Visual Album category. The award will be aired on the 28th of March, 2021 by 1am WAT.
