Youths Arrested For Wearing #Buharimustgo Shirts At The Dunamis Abuja

No fewer than 10 youths spotting #BuhariMustGo# shirts were arrested yesterday at the Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Abuja.

They were allegedly handed over to the Department of State Service by Senior Pastor of the church, Dr. PAUL ENENCHE.

It gathered the youths, believed to be activists, were apprehended by the church's security agents.

Eyewitnesses confided they were taken away in a DSS Hilux van escorted by two power bikes.

Co-convener of #RevolutionNow, OMOYELE SOWORE, confirmed their arrest.

He claimed the 10 youths, believed to be first time worshippers, were invited for prayer and preceded to the altar with the #BuhariMustGo shirts.

Some Private Schools Abuja Hurriedly Shut Down Over Fear Of Possible Attack By Kidnappers

Some private schools in Bwari Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory, have hurriedly shut down their activities over fear of possible attack by kidnappers.

This is despite assurances by the police authorities that Abuja is safe.

It was learnt that some schools hurriedly sent their students home yesterday when news broke that over 200 unidentified men suspected to be bandits were dropped by a truck in Sabon Wuse area of Niger State, a border town with Bwari, Abuja.

Some of the private schools that hurriedly closed instructed students to remain at home till further notice.

Some parents who do not want their identities revealed said that the schools gave the instructions on various group WhatsApp platforms of the schools.

In the last two weeks, over ten persons have been kidnapped in Bwari area council with ransom of about N10million paid to secure their release.

Code of Conduct Tribunal Chairman Caught On Camera Assaulting A Security Officer In Abuja

The Chairman of the Code of Conduct Tribunal, UMAR DANLADI has been caught on camera physically assaulting a security guard at Banex Plaza in Abuja.

In a five-minute video that has gone viral, DANLADI was seen slapping and kicking the yet-to-be-identified security guard, while police officers suspected to be attached to him were trying to restrain him from attacking the guard.

But reacting to the video in a statement, CCT spokesperson, IBRAHEEM AL-HASSAN, said the security man was rude and had threatened UMAR over where to park his car.

According to the statement, the young security guard could provide a reasonable explanation why UMAR could not park his car at a particular empty space.

In the video, the crowd around the scene was heard shouting "Go away, go away, oga go inside your car, respect yourself.

AL-HASSAN claimed some miscreants in the crowd threw machetes and sharp objects at Umar's car, which led to a deep cut and dislocation in one of his fingers, while damaging his car and windscreen.

Fire Guts Army Headquarters

Director Army Public Relations Brigadier General Mohammed Yerima said in a statement that an electrical fault sparked a minor fire incident at the army headquarters earlier today.

He also stated: "The incident which happened at about 10.15am was as a result of minor electrical fault in one of the offices.

“The Army Headquarters complex is currently undergoing some renovation involving electrical rework.

“The Nigerian Army Fire Service Department has since put out the fire. No casualty was recorded during the incident and normalcy has since returned to the complex”.
