Grammy-winning South African artist Tyla recently disclosed that she is currently unattached. Explaining her single status, she cited her dedication to advancing her music career as her primary focus for the time being.

In a recent interview, the 'Water' singer preferred a partner who enjoys playing video games over one who frequents clubs.

When asked whether she would choose a boyfriend who spends a lot of time gaming or one who is a regular at clubs, Tyla decisively chose the former, stating, "Video games all day. A club guy? No! What the hell? I would rather have a boyfriend who plays video games than a boyfriend who is at the club every weekend.

At least, I know the guy who plays video games will always be home with me. I also love being at home." As for her current relationship status, she confirmed, "Yes, I am single. I’m not playing with all of that right now. I am focusing on the prize."
