April 15, 2020 Sanwoolu: Residents who flout lockdown directive will be dealt with; asks Traditional Rulers To Lead By Example

The State Government has said it will bring full weight of the law on residents who flout the new lockdown directive issued by President BUHARI.

The President in a broadcast had extended the lockdown in Lagos, Ogun and the Federal Capital Territory to curb the spread of the global pandemic for another 14 days.

While addressing newsmen at the Marina House, Governor SANWOOLU called on the traditional rulers to lead by example in ensuring their subject comply with the directive.

The Governor reiterated that social distancing is still the best way so far to flatten the curb in the spread of the virus.

To stem the current tide of criminality in Lagos and Ogun states, the IG of Police, MOHAMMED ADAMU, has deployed an intervention squad to curb it.
