August 15, 2022 Peter Obi’s Camp Replies ‘Atiku’s Attack Dog’, Dino Melaye

Dino claimed that Mr. Obi lacked the necessary qualities to bring the nation together, stressing that peace is a necessary condition for economic growth.

Dino Melaye's tirades should be ignored, Nigerians have been urged by Peter Obi's media office, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP).

The political movement of Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party, has been characterized as a simple "euphoria" that cannot win an election by Dino Melaye, the spokesperson for the Atiku Abubakar Presidential Campaign Organization.

He claimed that Mr. Obi lacked the qualities necessary to unite the nation, emphasizing that peace is a requirement for economic progress.

Peter Obi's supporters responded by referring to Melaye as "the attack dog" of PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar.

On Monday, August 15, 2022, a statement that was made accessible to the media stated that the politician had nothing to say other than to keep criticizing "the man of the hour".

“No matter the quantum of untruths and falsity the attack dogs of the other candidates dish out, Peter Obi will never respond to them.

“Obi is not in the competition with them but with their Principals. He is issue-driven in his journey to Aso Rock to serve the people and rescue the country,” it said.

The office informed the populace that Obi has many important things to say and should not waste time on "rabble rousers" who are unaware of the scale of the nation's problems.

The LP candidate is at the service of Nigerian youngsters who are dedicated to this initiative and would not want distractions, according to the statement.

Above all, it stated that because of his highly esteemed credentials and reputation, "he cannot descend to their level to join them in the gutter."

“For those who call the ‘Obidient’ media office seeking Obi’s response to Dino’s needless attacks on him, these are the reasons. If you join a mad man in a fight in the marketplace, you could be mistaken for one”, it added.

The former senator Mr. Melaye also attacked Bola Tinubu, the candidate for the governing All Progressives Congress (APC), claiming that given how the administration under President Buhari has performed, it is hard to support Mr. Tinubu.
