This assertion was made in a post on his Instagram page where he emphasized the emotional anguish experienced by a man upon discovering that the child he has been nurturing is not biologically his, equating it to the trauma endured by a woman who has been subjected to rape. Salami advocates for the criminalization of paternity fraud to the extent that it parallels the legal status of rape, emphasizing the seriousness of both offenses.

In his post, he stated: "Paternity fraud should be criminalized just like rape. The experience of being raped is the same as what a man goes through when he finds out he’s been raising another man’s child. Damn! Rape is a major offence. Paternity fraud should also be. None of these 2 should be encouraged. Men’s mental health too matters."
