March 26, 2024 Ossai Threatens To Sue Bobrisky Over ‘Best Dressed Female’ Award

The Senior Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Media, Mr. Ossai Success, has publicly announced his intention to take legal action against popular Nigerian crossdresser, Bobrisky, and the producer of the movie "Ajanuku: Beast of Two Worlds" for allegedly promoting transgenderism.

In a statement shared on Facebook, Ossai vehemently criticized Bobrisky's recent recognition as the "Best Dressed Female" at the premiere of the aforementioned movie, held at the Circle Mall in Lekki, Lagos State. He condemned Bobrisky's presence on the glamorous red carpet, asserting that such individuals belong behind bars rather than in the spotlight.

Expressing concern over Bobrisky's perceived negative influence on Nigerian youth, Ossai called for swift government intervention. He urged federal authorities to arrest both Bobrisky and the movie producer for allegedly advocating transgenderism and LGBTQ+ rights, which are prohibited under Nigerian law. Ossai labeled attendees of the premiere as a "disgrace to womanhood" and demanded the banning of the movie in Nigeria due to its alleged promotion of transgender identity and LGBTQ+ rights.

"This is the opportune moment for our government to take action," Ossai emphasized, intensifying the urgency of his demands.

The escalating tensions have shifted the spotlight to the Nigerian government, which faces increasing pressure to address the contentious issue of LGBTQ+ rights. With voices on both sides of the debate demanding attention, the resolution of this impassioned dispute remains uncertain, leaving many Nigerians anxiously awaiting the next developments in this unfolding saga.
