May 14, 2024 Nnadozie Secures Goalkeeper’s Award Once More in France

Chiamaka Nnadozie has become the first African to clinch the National Union of Professional Footballers award for the top goalkeeper in the French women's premier league, thanks to her outstanding performances for Paris FC during the 2023/24 season.

She outshone a formidable lineup, including Christiane Endler from Olympic Lyon, Katarzyna Kiedrzynek of PSG, FC Fleury's Chloe N'Gazi, and Kinga Szemik from Stade de Reims, to secure this individual honor. Last month, the Nigeria international also earned recognition as the best goalkeeper in the French D1 Arkema (women's league).

Nnadozie's remarkable talent in saving penalties has solidified her position as one of the world's top goalkeepers, having stopped seven penalties this season, the highest tally among goalkeepers across Europe.
