The Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 has said Nigeria did not request for the Madagascar COVID-19 organics herbal cure.

Rather it said that Madagascar voluntarily sent the product to Guinea Bissau for the benefit of every country domiciled in West Africa.

Chairman of the Task Force, BOSS MUSTAPHA gave this clarification at the daily briefing by the Task Force in Abuja.

He said the explanation became necessary due to misconception in some quarters that Nigeria ignores efforts to develop homegrown solution to the virus.
