While speaking on a monitored programme, President of the Resident doctors, Dr UYILAWA OKHUAIHESUYI, said they decided to suspend the strike because of a new agreement reached with the federal government.

He also commended the role played by the Speaker, House of Representatives, FEMI GBAJABIAMILA during the faceoff between government and the striking doctors.

NARD President, Dr. OKHUAIHESUYI however warned that they may resume the strike failure of government to meet all the demands after four weeks.
