The management of the late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, widely known as Mohbad, has vehemently denied the assertion that the artist left a will. This rebuttal comes in response to recent statements made by Mohbad's father, Joseph Aloba, who, in a recent interview, claimed that his son had written a will before his demise.
In a statement posted on the late singer's Instagram page on Monday, Mohbad's management dismissed the claim as "false and misleading." The statement clarified, "No members of Mohbad’s management or his lawyer have communicated the existence of a will or any such thumb-printed document (as has recently been falsely reported) to any family member or the public."
The management emphasised that if a document of such nature did exist, it would have been officially registered with the Probate Registry. The statement urged everyone to refrain from spreading inaccurate and misleading information.
Furthermore, the management disclosed that all accounts owned and managed by Mohbad during his lifetime were placed on a post-no-debit order on September 12, 2023, and this order remains in effect. The accounts will be properly transferred to the family upon the resolution of the internal dispute, according to the management's statement.
