The Speaker of the House of Representatives, FEMI GBAJABIAMILA, has assured the National Association of Resident Doctors that their demands would be met in four weeks'.
He gave this assurance when he visited the NARD headquarters in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.
NARD President, Dr UYILAWA OKHUA-IHESUYI, had on April 12 said the association was giving the Federal Government four weeks to honour its agreement with the union as they suspended their strike.
But the Speaker, after listening to their demands, promised that the government is doing all within its power to ensure the doctors do not down their tools.
