The house of representatives has again fixed another date for the Central Bank Governor, Godwin Emefiele to appear before it after defaulting twice.
The lawmakers had invited him over the cash withdrawal limit policy of the apex bank.
However, Emefiele, in a letter written by the Deputy Governor, Corporate Services, CBN, Edward Adamu, said he is currently outside the country for an official assignment.
He stated that he will communicate with the House on an appropriate date.
It would be recalled that the briefing has been postponed twice by the lawmakers, as Emefiele has been outside the country.
The lawmakers debated the development and the Speaker of the House, Femi Gbajabiamila, said the CBN governor must brief the House on his reason for spending two weeks outside the country.
