Former Minister of Transportation Rotimi Amaechi has urged Nigerian youths seeking relocation from the country to consider their opportunities in Nigeria and stay back.
The former Rivers State Governor claimed there are juicy opportunities in Nigeria that those seeking greener pastures in other countries may not have.
According to him, there are possibilities for someone to emerge suddenly as a leader in the country.
He said he has always discouraged those who want to leave the country, saying that if they want a 9 am to 5 pm job, they can always get that when they leave the country, but they can never get the opportunities that abound in Nigeria.
The former presidential aspirant also blamed the country’s economy for the ravaging crimes in Nigeria.
According to him, the Nigerian economy is too small and cannot accommodate everybody, leading to robbery and other crimes.
In an interview with Inspiration FM, Legal Practitioner and Public Affairs Analyst Fred Nzeako said the comment amounts to a mockery of Nigerians by the former Minister.
