Ten Hag Bans Man Utd Forward From All First-Team Facilities

Following a public fallout after a 3-1 loss to Arsenal, Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has taken a firm stance by prohibiting Jadon Sancho from accessing all first-team facilities, including the team's dining area.

Sancho was omitted from the United squad for the Emirates game, prompting Ten Hag to express dissatisfaction with the player's performance levels during training.

Sancho, in response, contested these remarks in a now-deleted social media post, asserting that the allegations are baseless and that he is unfairly shouldering blame.

Despite this disagreement, Sancho has chosen not to apologise for his statements. As a result, he has been directed to conduct solo training sessions at Carrington until a resolution is reached on the matter.

We’re Ready To Compete! – Iheanacho’s Warning To Liverpool Before Carabao Cup Showdown

In what promises to be an electrifying third-round face-off at Anfield this Wednesday night, Leicester City's forward, Kelechi Iheanacho, has delivered a resounding warning to Liverpool.

While Liverpool may hold the edge as favourites, Iheanacho emphasises that the Foxes are primed for a fierce battle to seize victory.

"We're eager for this," declared the Nigerian international in an interview with the club's official channels. "We understand the atmosphere at Anfield is exceptional, but our purpose isn't just to soak it in; we're there to compete."

Reflecting on their pre-season encounter with Liverpool, Iheanacho notes the team's current momentum, with a string of victories under their belt. He acknowledges Liverpool's formidable presence, commending their strong showing in the Premier League this season.

"They're going to challenge us, but we must put in the hard yards for the win. We hope to achieve just that, so let's see what unfolds. Their pressing game is robust, and we need to be vigilant against it. We'll aim to give them a run for their money, but we're fully aware of their strength."

Iheanacho and his international compatriot Wilfred Ndidi showcased their scoring prowess in Leicester City's previous 2-0 victory against Burton Albion in the Carabao Cup. The Foxes currently lead the Sky Bet Championship table with an impressive start to the season, clinching seven wins out of eight league fixtures and smoothly progressing past Burton Albion and Tranmere Rovers in the Carabao Cup.

Meanwhile, Jürgen Klopp's Liverpool stands as a force to be reckoned with, having notched up six consecutive victories across all competitions. They're positioned second in the Premier League, a mere two points behind reigning champions Manchester City, illustrating a commendable start to the 2023/24 season.

Unprecedented Solheim Cup: Key Takeaways From Europe’s Remarkable 14-14 Draw With USA At Finca Cortesin

In a nail-biting showdown at Finca Cortesin, Team Europe maintains their unbeaten streak, retaining the Solheim Cup with a historic 14-14 draw against Team USA.

Suzann Pettersen and Stacy Lewis will captain their respective teams again in the 2024 contest.

While watching Gleneagles' 2019 Solheim Cup drama was no small feat, this year's competition came remarkably close. Pettersen, the hero from four years ago, was entrusted with leading Team Europe to a potential third consecutive victory.

Despite a rocky start with Team USA's clean sweep in the Friday foursomes and their lead that afternoon, Pettersen's squad showed incredible resilience, levelling the playing field heading into the Sunday singles.

Although Europe faced adversity as Stacy Lewis' American team pulled ahead 13-11 with only four matches remaining, Caroline Hedwall, Maja Stark, and local favourite Carlota Ciganda rallied to secure a historic 14-14 draw, marking a first in the tournament's history.

James Maddison Playfully Teases Bukayo Saka’s Darts Celebration During First Goal

During Sunday's North London derby, Arsenal's Bukayo Saka cheekily emulated James Maddison's darts celebration, adding a touch of humour to the match, which ended in a 2-2 draw at the Emirates Stadium.

Maddison, who assisted Spurs' first equaliser, joked, "He must have still been doing the celeb when I turned him for the first goal!"

Reflecting on Saka mimicking his celebration, Maddison shared, "Me and Bukayo had a bit of banter and trash-talking on international duty. And I got told he did the darts celebration - he must have still been doing it when I turned him for the first goal, so I'll have a little word with him in there!"

When questioned after the game, Maddison continued to jest about Saka, saying, "A quick 501 at Ally Pally against Bukayo Saka, do you reckon?"

The 26-year-old also had a pivotal role in the game, helping to nullify Saka's second-half penalty, which momentarily put Arsenal ahead in the 56th minute. Just 90 seconds later, Maddison swiftly took possession from Jorginho, setting up Son for his second goal of the game, ensuring Tottenham's undefeated streak in the Premier League under new manager Ange Postecoglou.

Maddison will look forward to showcasing his darts celebration in Tottenham's upcoming clash against unbeaten Liverpool in the Premier League on Saturday, set to be broadcast live on Sky Sports at 5.30 pm.

On the other hand, Arsenal will face Brentford in the third round of the Carabao Cup on Wednesday at 7.45 pm before returning to Premier League action against Bournemouth on Saturday at 3 pm under the guidance of Mikel Arteta.
