Ahead of the November governorship election in the state, deputy governor of Anambra, Nkem Okeke has defected from the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
The deputy governor’s switch to APC came just 24 days to the Anambra State governorship election which holds on November 6.
President Muhammadu Buhari received the deputy governor at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Okeke was led to the President by the APC Caretaker Committee Chairman and Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, and Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma.
Nkem Okeke gives his reason for defecting.
But some Nigerians do not believe Okeke.
