Nollywood actress Dayo Amusa has expressed her disapproval of the decision to award the title of 'Best Dressed Female' to popular crossdresser Bobrisky at a recent movie premiere in Lagos.

Reports surfaced indicating that Bobrisky was crowned the 'Best Dressed Female' at the premiere event over the weekend and was presented with a cash prize of N1 million. In response, Amusa shared a video message on her Instagram account condemning the decision, stating that it belittled the efforts of the women attendees.

In her message, Amusa expressed her confusion and disappointment, questioning why a crossdresser was chosen for the award meant for females. She emphasized that, while anyone could have been the winner, selecting a crossdresser for the female category undermined the presence and efforts of the women at the event.

Amusa highlighted her belief that the judges' decision disrespected the women present, suggesting that if there was a desire to honor crossdressers, a separate category should have been created rather than overshadowing female attendees with such an award.
