President Bola Tinubu has granted the military full authority to ensure those responsible for the tragic killing of 12 soldiers and four senior Army officers in Delta State face justice. The Nigerian military officially confirmed the loss of the commanding officer, two majors, one captain, and a dozen soldiers during a rescue operation in Okuama Community, Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State. The troops had been deployed to address a crisis between Okuama and Okoloba communities in Delta State when they fell under ambush.
