I Don’t See Divorce From My Ex-Husbands As Failure – Funke Akindele

Nollywood actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele has shared her perspective on her two previous marriages, asserting that she doesn't view them as "failures."

In a recent interview, Akindele revealed that her mother instilled in her the belief that failure is an integral part of the journey towards success.

Akindele emphasized her pragmatic approach to marriage, stating that she takes it "as it comes." She underscored the significance of her mental health and career, considering them to be higher priorities. The actress expressed her primary focus on leading an impactful life and providing for her children and siblings.

Reflecting on her attitude towards perceived failures, Akindele remarked, "If you ask me now, can you tell me one failure? I don't see it as a failure. My personal life—marriage—I take it as it comes. My mental health is very important. My career is very important, darling. I have to make an impact. I have to empower many people. I have to inspire the young people out there. I have to stay strong for my children and my siblings. Why am I living? I have a purpose, so my head is up. Yes, I cry, yes, I break down, but after I cry, I just look in the mirror and say, 'keep moving.'

Mohbad Did Not Leave Any Will Behind – Management Clarifies

The management of the late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, widely known as Mohbad, has vehemently denied the assertion that the artist left a will. This rebuttal comes in response to recent statements made by Mohbad's father, Joseph Aloba, who, in a recent interview, claimed that his son had written a will before his demise.

In a statement posted on the late singer's Instagram page on Monday, Mohbad's management dismissed the claim as "false and misleading." The statement clarified, "No members of Mohbad’s management or his lawyer have communicated the existence of a will or any such thumb-printed document (as has recently been falsely reported) to any family member or the public."

The management emphasised that if a document of such nature did exist, it would have been officially registered with the Probate Registry. The statement urged everyone to refrain from spreading inaccurate and misleading information.

Furthermore, the management disclosed that all accounts owned and managed by Mohbad during his lifetime were placed on a post-no-debit order on September 12, 2023, and this order remains in effect. The accounts will be properly transferred to the family upon the resolution of the internal dispute, according to the management's statement.

I Dropped Out Of UK University Because I Couldn’t Afford Fees – Crossdresser James Brown

Renowned Nigerian crossdresser James Brown has disclosed the reasons behind his withdrawal from a university in the United Kingdom.

Last year, Brown garnered attention by announcing his admission to a British university. Still, later, social media circulated reports suggesting that his stay in the UK was for a visit rather than academic pursuits.

In response, James Brown addressed the issue in a video message posted on his Instagram page. He clarified that he enrolled at Bellshefield University in London but had to abandon his studies due to financial constraints. Brown emphasized that the exorbitant fees in London caught him off guard, and he ultimately couldn't afford to continue his education.

In the video, he stated, "I hear say dem say I no go school for London. Una dey craze? Una eyes blind? Do I do fake life? No! See my university card, Bellshefield University, London. I dropped out because I couldn’t afford the fees. When I went to London, I didn’t know that I would spend so much. I did not know. Nobody told me. I spent not less than £12,900. So I said instead of spending that kind of money it’s better I buy a house in my village. I came back because school fees in London is very expensive."
