At the 2022 Headies Awards, Wyclef Jean is presented with the Best International Artist Recognition Award.
In the most recent collaboration, 9ice, the Haitian artist worked with 2Baba and Akon. He has eight albums, various charting singles, including Shakira's "Hips Don't Lie," and he has won numerous honors.
In addition to being an actor and record producer, Wyclef Jean is best known for being a part of the hip-hop group The Fugees.
He has won three Grammy Awards and has received a Golden Globe Award nomination for his musical work.  In 2011, President Michel Martelly  of Haiti awarded Jean with the National Order of Honour and Merit to the rank of Grand Officer. Jean has also been inducted into the New Jersey Hall of Fame. Â
