As Nigeria joins the rest of the world to mark the World Teachers’ Day today, a non-governmental organisation, Mind Smith is set to present awards to teachers from that had made profound impact in the lives of their students.

Chief Executive Officer, Mind Smith, PETER DINGBA, said one cannot imagine the emotions that come with reconnecting with that special teacher whom you lost contact with 20 years ago.

PETER DINGBA lamented it was unfortunate that teachers are not treated well in Nigeria.

The World Teachers Day is held annually on October 5 after the signing of the 1966 UNESCO/ILO Recommendations.
