The Secretary to Benue State Government, Professor TONY IJOHOR, the Chief of Staff, TERWASE ORBUNDE have tested positive to coronavirus.

The Head of Service, VERONICA ONYEKE and the Vice-Chancellor, Benue State University, MOSES KEMBE, have also been infected.

This is coming just hours after the wife of the governor, EUNICE ORTOM, her son and some of her domestic staff were reported to have contracted the disease.

Speaking to journalists in Makurdi the state capital, Governor SAM ORTOM who had earlier tested negative said doctors have advised him to undergo another test.
