Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has said bandits have now been officially declared as terrorists, to enable security agencies take more stringent measures against them.
Osinbajo made the declaration while at the palace of Emir of Katsina on a condolence visit over the passing of Dahiru Mangal’s mother, Hajiya Murja.
According to the Vice President, with all the new security measures in the country, there should be able a very significant change in Nigeria’s security situation.
Responding, the Emir of Katsina, Alhaji Abdulmuminu Kabir Usman, told Osinbajo, that he and Governor Aminu Masari do not sleep with their two eyes closed due to security challenges in the state.
