The Kannywood film industry is mourning the loss of another veteran actor, Fatima Usman, popularly known as Fati Slow Motion. The news of Fati's passing was announced by Kano-based activist Mansura Isa on her Facebook page on Tuesday.

According to Isa, the actor passed away on Monday night in Habasha near Sudan, where she will be laid to rest. Condolences will be received at her family home in Ungwa Uku, Kano.

Confirming the incident, Abba El-Mustapha, Executive Secretary of the Kano State Censorship Board, expressed prayers for the repose of her soul and invoked Allah's mercy and forgiveness upon her. Fati Slow Motion had been a prominent figure in the Kannywood movie industry for over 15 years.
