Two children have been killed in a lone accident involving a Toyota at Ade Best axis in Isara, on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

Spokesperson of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Ogun State Sector, Florence Okpe, confirmed the incident to reporters in Abeokuta.

Okpe said the incident occurred due to excessive speeding and loss of control, adding that the car ran into a ditch.

According to her, five people—three children, one man, and a woman—were involved in the accident.

She said the injured victims were taken to a hospital in Ogere for medical attention, while the deceased were deposited at the Isara General Hospital morgue.
