Super Eagles defender Bruno Onyemaechi is set to finalize his permanent transfer to Greek Super League giants Olympiacos on Monday.
The 25-year-old arrived in Greece on Thursday and successfully underwent his medical on Friday. Onyemaechi will sign a three-and-a-half-year contract with Olympiacos, with the Greek club paying Portuguese side Boavista a transfer fee of €2.5 million.
Onyemaechi initially joined Boavista on loan from another Portuguese club, CD Feirense, in 2022. The deal was made permanent the following season.
This season, the left-back has been in fine form, contributing three goals and one assist in 18 league appearances for Boavista.
