Ebonyi State Governor DAVID UMAHI, says traditional rulers and religious leaders have a greater role to play in proffering solution to the nation's security challenges.
He also said that for the country to end the menace, leaders across board must participate in meetings that will lead to concrete outcome to ensure a peaceful atmosphere in the country.
UMAHI stated this during an expanded security meeting with service chiefs and stakeholders at his office at the Centenary City, Abakaliki.
 The visibly angry Governor was reacting to the spates of killings of security agents, civilians and destructions of national assets across the South-East geo-political zone, where he superintends as Chairman of Governors' Forum.
He however urged leaders to be mindful of their utterances that could further escalate the crisis.
 Worried by the ugly trend, the Governor imposed a dusk to dawn curfew at strategic entry and exit points in the state between 8pm and 6am.
