Former Lagos State Governor, Bola Tinubu, has said Nigeria needs knowledge to stop the rising wave of bandits attacks in the country, especially in the north.
The APC National leader, who has declared his intention to contest for the 2023 Prudential election on the platform of the APC, stated this Thursday, during a commiseration visit to Governor Bello Matawalle and the people of the state over the recent killings of about 200 persons in Anka and Bukuyyum Local Government Areas.
Tinubu, who announced a donation of N50 million to Zamfara communities recently attacked by bandits, called for sustained prayers to overcome the insecurity situation in the state.
He also expressed confidence in President Muhammadu Buhari’s ability to restore law and order and return Nigeria to stability and development.
