The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu has returned to the country from the United Kingdom.

Tinubu, who left the country on September 24, returned yesterday after 12 days away.

During his time away, there had been concerns over his whereabouts, especially after he missed the signing of the peace accord for the 2023 elections.

Expressing joy to be back, Tinubu who spoke to the media on arrival, expressed readiness to get to work, stating that “hope” was back.

Some of those at the airport to receive him were his running mate, Kashim Shettima, the Director-General of the party’s presidential campaign, Governor Simon Lalong and former APC Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole.
