President Bola Tinubu has ordered the National Security Adviser (NSA), Nuhu Ribadu, and other security agencies to work with state governors and go after those hoarding foodstuffs in the country.
The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, made this known after meeting President Tinubu and state governors in the State House, Abuja.
This comes as Nigeria continue to battle the rise in the cost of food items occasioned by the removal of fuel subsidies and insecurity, among other vices.
The Minister equally revealed that a decision has also been taken that, in the interest of the country, there would be no need for food importation as a way out of the present food crisis.
