A total of 10 persons associated with the State House in the Marina area of Lagos State have tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

This was disclosed by the Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Professor Akin Abayomi, in a series of posts on his Twitter handle.

Professor Abayomi, however, revealed that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Joke, his wife, both tested negative after three tests conducted on them.

The commissioner called on Lagosians to observe the precautionary measures such as social distancing, washing of hands with soaps, and use of hand sanitizers.
