Minnesota is commemorating Wizkid Day four years after Governor Mark Dayton announced October 6th as the state's annual Wizkid Day.
The Governor stated in the sealed and stamped paper designating the day that the recognition is in appreciation of Wizkid's musical talents and position as a cultural influencer.

Since obtaining the award, Wizkid has accomplished several milestones, including hitting the top of the Billboard Hot 100, selling out the 02 Arena three nights in a row, winning a Grammy, and receiving an RIAA platinum plaque.
Minnesota is located in the upper midwestern area of the United States. It is the 12th biggest and 22nd most populated state in the region.
