January 4, 2025 Speed Darlington’s Lawyer Dares Burna Boy: Arrest Chief Priest to Prove Your Bravery

Stan Alieke, lawyer to embattled singer Speed Darlington, has issued a challenge to Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy, urging him to take legal action against socialite Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, for alleged defamation. This follows Burna Boy’s previous decision to have Speed Darlington arrested for similar accusations.

Cubana Chief Priest has recently engaged in social media trolling directed at Burna Boy after the singer appeared to take a jab at him. In one of his posts, Chief Priest alleged that Burna Boy had an inappropriate relationship with American music executive Diddy as part of an effort to secure a Grammy. Speed Darlington was arrested for making a comparable claim.

Reacting to the situation, Stan Alieke called on Burna Boy to demonstrate consistency by pursuing legal action against Chief Priest. Writing on his Instagram story, Alieke said:

“Your petition claims that the Diddy and baby oil banter has caused ‘irreparable damage to your international reputation and has made you lose a lot of gigs.’

"Now, another person with more reach and influence has referenced the same Diddy and baby oil banter. The world expects you to engage the police and arrest him since that’s your usual approach. Otherwise, the streets may interpret it as cowardice.

“Well, I’m just a lawyer seeking justice for all.”

The lawyer’s remarks have sparked debate online, with many questioning whether Burna Boy will respond similarly to the allegations from Cubana Chief Priest.
