The Senate has expressed worry over insecurity, declaring that the nation’s seat of power was under threat.
Akpabio spoke after admitting into the chamber, the service chiefs who had honoured the lawmakers’ summon to brief them on the spate of insecurity in Nigeria and effort to address the menace.
The Senate however adjourned its briefing with the heads of security agencies to next week over the absence of National Security Adviser (NSA), Nuhu Ribadu, and the Chief of Defence Staff, Christopher Musa.
The lawmakers also extended the invitation to other security heads.
