The senate has insisted that the role of the office of the National Security Adviser is critical to improving the security situation of the country, hence he must show up for questioning.

Senate spokesperson, Yemi Adaramodu stated this after the adjournment of the earlier scheduled invitation extended to the service chiefs.

Adaramodu said the extended summon will provide a more robust engagement with the security heads.
