President Bola Tinubu has commended Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara for his statesmanship despite the state's rising crisis.
The President thanked the Governor for his efforts to resolve the political challenges in the state. Governor Fubara, in his Christmas Broadcast, reiterated his commitment to implementing the eight-point presidential peace agreement on the political crisis in the state.
The Nigerian Leader expressed his appreciation to Fubara, who was part of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) delegation that visited him in his Lagos residence.
Also, during the visit, President Tinubu called for collaboration between the federal and sub-national governments to foster rapid infrastructural development in every part of the nation.
He also directed that “the school feeding programme must return quickly, beginning from the local government to the state and federal governments to protect the children and prepare them for the future.
