The south south where the Rivers State Police Command has recovered the remains of the slain DPO of Ahoada Police Division, SP Bako Angbashim, from the shrine of the late Gift Okpara.
Angbashim was murdered by a gang of cultists led by Okpara popularly called 2BABA, who was later killed in an operation led by the state police command.
The command’s Public Relations Officer, Grace Koko, said a coordinated joint operation carried out by tactical squads of the command and personnel of the Force Intelligence Bureau led to the recovery.
Koko said the operation led to the discovery of a burial site in the gang’s shrine where the remains of the slain police officer were found and subsequently exhumed.

Koko added that the remaining dismembered parts of Angbashim’s body, which are suspected to have been buried at various undisclosed locations in the forest would be recovered.
