Rico Swavey's family has confirmed funeral plans for the late Big Brother Naija star.

Rico, born Patrick Adebowale Fakoya, was involved in an automobile accident that resulted in his being placed on life support. On Thursday, October 13, 2022, he died two days after the tragedy.

On Tuesday, preparations for his funeral were disclosed through Twitter in a statement signed by his family and management team.

“With a heavy heart, we invite all friends and fans of Rico Swavey to his tribute night/candle light walk tomorrow as we witness a star supernova. Thank you all,” the caption read.

On Wednesday, a memorial night and candlelight stroll would be held at Retro Citi on Victoria Island, Lagos.

On Thursday, there will be a private service in Tinubu Square's Methodist Church of the Trinity.

His funeral will be held shortly after at Ebony Vaults in Ikoyi, where he will be put to rest.
