On February 11th, 2022, "Calm Down," one of Rema's lead songs from her first album "Raves & Roses," was made available. The song would later gain widespread recognition and peak at number five on TurnTable Top 100.
The song's success, which peaked at 100 million streams in only three months after release, is highlighted in the music video. Similar to that, it has received hundreds of millions of listens on Audiomack and Boomplay in addition to over 173 million streams on Spotify.
American pop diva Selena Gomez contributed a line to the song "Calm Down," which led to an international remix and further boosted the song's popularity. After the remix, Rema made his Billboard Hot 100 debut, reaching at No. 74 and No. 16 on the UK Official Singles Chart, respectively. Additionally, the remix has had over 141 million Spotify listens.
