Rema is 23 years old and the youngest African musician to sell out the O2 Arena.
He is also one of the youngest people ever to headline the multi-platinum-selling venue. Rema, a Nigerian musician and trailblazer, has sold out a headline London show, proving his worth as an international music hero.
In May, he surprised fans by announcing a must-see event at London’s 20,000-seat 02 Arena.
The performance will take place on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, in promotion of his debut studio album, ‘Rave & Roses’.
Collaborations on the 22-track album include 6lack, Chris Brown, AJ Tracey, Yseult, and Selena Gomez.
Rema who’s currently the hottest musician in Africa made a big career milestone in 2023 with ‘Rave & Roses’ which is the first African album in history to cross 1 billion streams on Spotify and created a global smash single ‘Calm Down’.
‘Calm Down,’ featuring Selena Gomez, has achieved huge global popularity. The track created history when it topped the inaugural Middle Eastern and North African (MENA) chart, earning Rema a Guinness World Record.
The song peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and stayed there for over a year. It became platinum in the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Switzerland, and many more countries.
The November concert will mark the music act’s return to London following his amazing performances at the O2 Brixton Sold Out Show.
